Medicaroid was established in 2013 as a joint venture between Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Sysmex, applying over 50 years of global medical and robotics expertise. The company’s name is a fusion of the words "medical" and "android".

Based at the Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster, we at Medicaroid aim to identify and meet the needs of the medical community through open-platform development in broad cooperation with the medical, corporate, research, and government communities. The feedback received through our rigorous marketing activities will be reflected in the development, manufacture, and sale of products to ensure that we produce medical robots that can further the evolution and growth of the global medical industry.

Mission

By creating our medical robots, we support an aging society in which everyone can live in peace.
